Join us at your Minden branch for a showing of the highly-anticipated film adaptation of Delia Owens' novel! Although being set in North Carolina, filming actually took place in various locations across Louisiana.
In fact, downtown Houma served as the fictional Barkley Cove, and was given a '60s makeover for filming.
Real-life shops in the region were given temporary facades, and retro cars were parked to line the streets.
This is a PG-13 film, and you have access to the book in various formats through your library!
