Pelican Pediatric Therapy is excited about their new Social Skills Group sessions for kids ages 7-9 years of age!
This event will be held on Friday afternoons starting November 17th and each provides a great opportunity for kids to interact with other children and and learn valuable social skills together in a safe group setting.
This new group aims to help the kids develop the skills that they can use in nearly any setting they are presented with from school settings to out in the community.
Skills such as good sportsmanship, introductions, taking turns, and many other skills listed in the curriculum will be very beneficial in proper development and also will give your child the ability to generalize across many different settings, events, and people.
Children from ages 7 to 9 years are invited to join Pelican Pediatric Therapy from 3:30-5:00PM Fridays starting November 17th for this eight week session.
These age appropriate classes can be helpful even if you have no current concerns regarding your child.
Spots are limited, so pre-registration is required. The cost for this 8 week series is $320 or $40/session.

Pelican Pediatric Therapy also offers ABA Therapy (Applied Behavior Analysis) which helps address challenging behaviors such as tantrums by teaching alternative behaviors that are more appropriate.
They also offer speech therapy which can focus on articulation, motor speech and fluency depending upon need.
