Come join us as we honor and celebrate Black Excellence, Black Fatherhood and Black History through the art of stepping!

About this event

As a valued member of the community, ETX Stomp Fest along with partners Councilman Wray Wade and The Gregg County Historical Museum would like to invite you to be part of the ETX Stomp Fest: First Annual Juneteenth Step Show on June 19, 2022 at the Longview Community Center 500 E. Whaley Street, Longview, TX 75601. Doors will open at 2:30 PM and the event will be held from 3:00 PM-5:00 PM. This event will commemorate Juneteenth as a celebration of Black culture and excellence through history and through performance and raise awareness of Black culture and history in Gregg County.

This year's theme is Honoring the Past and Inspiring the Future. We believe that in order for us to have a bright future, the history and culture of Black people should be honored and celebrated. ETX Stomp Fest is seeking to increase Black membership significantly at the Gregg County Historical Museum. We are convinced that by doing so the Black community will be better represented in the archives of the Gregg County Historical Museum through displays and exhibitions. In order for this event to be a success, we are asking for your participation and financial contribution to further these aims.
