Saturday, June 17th from 10 AM until 4 PM, residents of Minden and surrounding communities are invited to gather on Martin Luther King Drive to celebrate Juneteenth, a day commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans.
The event, organized by local community groups, promises a day filled with history, entertainment, and activities for all ages.
Expect a rich program of events, including educational displays on Juneteenth history, musical performances, and a tantalizing array of food vendors
Festivities will also showcase a variety of pop-up shops, boasting a wide range of merchandise such as clothing, jewelry, and other unique items.
