Check out this At Home Bricks Building Class
5 sessions starting next week and your kids can meet with a teacher, other kids who love LEGO and build some very cool working, moving, and motorized LEGO models.
Kids can "check out" one of our special LEGO kits just like a DVD from Redbox and return it after the class is finished.
The best part? Your kids will get to KEEP the new LEGO technical motor and battery pack just like we use in all of our classes. This class is limited to just 10 students so sign up today!

For ages Kindergarten through 5th grade
What is Included:
- 5 sessions of classes over approximately 2 weeks.
- 45-60 minute online LEGO building class with a teacher and other students.
- Students can have siblings from the same home attend, but only one student may share their work with the group and ask questions.
- Parents are encouraged to work with their child during our class time but it’s not required.
- LEGO Technical Motor to keep!
- LEGO Technical battery pack to keep!
- Bricks 4 Kidz shirt to wear during class and keep! (some sizes are limited)
Cost:
- $49 for 5 sessions
- $20 for a brand new LEGO motor and battery pack to keep or $12 for a preowned set to keep.
- You can purchase both parts yourselves from LEGO Education for around $29 with shipping.
- You can also purchase LEGO set 8293 motor set on Amazon or other online retailers. It is going for around $60 with a few extra LEGO elements. For our class we recommend the basic motor and battery pack setup.
- You can use your own LEGO technical motor if you have one.
- $65 refundable deposit for our custom technical kit of 100+ LEGO pieces. ($0.10-$1.35 fee per piece not returned with a maximum of $65) . Parents will return the complete organized kit within 7 days of the end of class for a deposit refund. If you are registered for another class starting within 7 days, you can keep the kit for the next class session. After 7 days from the end of the class the $65 deposit will be forfeited and used to replace the set. Please plan on returning the kit for us to organize, clean, sanitize, use with other students in the future.
What does my child need for the class?
- A Bricks building set provided by us. You must be able to pick it up or have it delivered in the Shreveport Bossier area. Shipping is available for other areas at a cost.
- A computer with an internet connection
- A web camera so that teachers can see your model build.
- A zoom account. Sign up today for free at www.zoom.us/signup
- A quiet area in your home to build modes like a dining room or kitchen table. A location students usually do homework at will work well. Your child’s bedroom or the floor is NOT a recommend place to build. Remember, your carpets are enemy of the LEGO brick.
- I will email you the class link and password approximately 15 minutes before the start of class. If your internet connection is not working, make sure you have your neighbors wifi password!
Class description for this session:
This 5 class STEM session will cover people working in our neighborhoods, forces of nature, motorized construction tools, animals in our back yard and transportation vehicles. Each class is different and kids will build something new each session with the materials provided. Our daily lessons will start off with expectations for the class, a brief history and technical lesson on the days topic, building time for our model and a question and answer time at the end for your child to share their thoughts and ask questions.
In addition to the class time, private online lessons are available for students and parents. If you have any questions about our classes, please ask before you register. Once a class session has started refunds are not available. Check your class days and times to make sure your child can attend. We will meet on:
