Time to get excited, Shreveport-Bossier, it's time for Geek'd Con, Shreveport's biggest Pop Culture event in the Ark-La-Tex, and one of the largest in the entire state of Louisiana.
The geek community in the Ark-La-Tex is the biggest, and most passionate, groups of geeks you can find anywhere.
You and your family can enjoy this fun, safe, family-friendly convention together that has been designed for ALL aspects of the geek community big AND small!
Shop with vendors of all shapes and sizes: comic book stores, cell phone retailers, video game outlets, book stores, hobby shops, artists, writers, and more.
The event will also feature National Headliners including comic book artists, stars of TV and film, and professional cos-play groups. You can even join in the cosplay costume contest on Sunday!
Geek’d Con will also host a full-scale cos-play competition. The potential for live-interactive sponsored events and panels exists as well.

What can/can't I bring to the event?
No outside food or beverage allowed inside. Personal cameras and backpacks are allowed. No projectile/sharp/dangerous cosplay accessories allowed. Weaponry for cosplay outfits can not resemble an actual weapon, we must clearly be able to identify an item is not a real weapon from a distance.

Are tickets available at the Box Office?
Yes. The Box Office at the Convention Center will be open about 60 minutes before doors open each day, and will be open during the event.
Is my ticket transferrable?
Online tickets are non-transferrable. Physical tickets are allowed to be transferred, gifted, or resold. If you buy your tickets online, and want to give them to someone else, you can simply print a physical copy of the tickets.
What is the refund policy?
Unless the event is canceled, refunds are not available.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
No there is no ID requirements. No age limit. All ages welcome.
Do I need to print physical copies of my ticket?
No, we will have scanners at the door that can read the barcode on digital tickets from TicketSpice. We do encourage that you print your tickets if possible to make the process smoother and easier, However, to safely and quickly move people through the line, please add your digital tickets to your Apple Wallet, screenshot your digital tickets to your camera roll or know how to easily and quickly access them.
What if I bought a weekend pass and lose my wristband?
Oh no! Try not to lose your weekend wristband, if you do please keep your receipt and we will be more than happy to replace your wristband at no additional cost. If you cannot prove your weekend purchase you will have to buy a new weekend pass.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Parking is FREE all weekend long in the Convention Center Parking Garage. Check your hotel for shuttle availability if you are from out of town.
Do I need cash or is a card fine?
While some vendors and guests will have the ability to accept credit and debit cards, many will not. There will be ATMs available at the event. However, to avoid missing a grail item from a vendor or waiting in line for a guest autograph and realizing they don't accept cards, it's always a good idea to bring at least some cash with you to the event.
Do celebrities charge for autographs and pictures?
Yes. Each guest will have a price for autographs and photos. The guests set these prices themselves, and keep 100% of that money. Geek'd Con doesn't receive any of that money, or get a say in the prices.
How much do autographs or photos cost?
Each guest sets their own price and keeps 100% of the proceeds. Some guests have already told us their prices, you can find that list here. If and when guests change/tell us their prices, that change will be reflected here. However, prices are subject to change at the discretion of the guests.
What Days Will Be Guests Be at Geek'd Con?
Some guests will be appearing all three days, some will only be on hand Saturday & Sunday. If we know their schedule, we've marked it on this page. Another question we get a ton is what times will guests be available. Generally speaking - with the exception of photo times, panels, lunch breaks, etc., guests will be hanging out most of the day on the days they're appearing. Do things come up where they may leave early or stay late? Absolutely. Flight times change and things happen. But, for the most part, they will be there and ready to meet you.
Do I need to bring something for a celebrity to sign?
No, guests will have some 8x10 photos available. BUT, if there's something you specifically want signed (baseball cards, a movie poster, Funko etc., etc..) we suggest you bring it with you or buy one from our amazing vendors. So, if you have something specific in mind that you want signed, it might be best to make plans to bring it with you or to purchase it.
