Did you know Black History Month isn't celebrated in February due to pure coincidence?

It was decided upon to coincide with President Abraham Lincoln’s and Frederick Douglass's birthdays.

Both have long been aligned and celebrated in the Black communities for their efforts as abolitionists.

What started as one week known as "Negro History Week” was expanded into a month-long celebration formally declared Black History Month by President Gerald Ford in 1976.

Black History Month is here and Daytime Playtime Kids has a camp for that! Your child will learn about black history through art, music, literacy, and other engaging activities. Snack Time and Free Play are included!

Looking for classes for you and your younger child? Check out Daytime Playtime Kids awesome Baby and Me & PreK Prep classes!

These fun and engaging classes give you AND your baby or toddler the opportunity to socialize with new friends which is therapeutic for both new Moms AND their little ones. Two adults are welcome to accompany each child.

Baby & Me classes for kids ages 10 months-2 years and a carer. Together, you and your baby will enjoy fun songs, bubbles, story time, sensory play and parachute time and more while engaging in fine motor play which helps with development.

PreK Prep classes are for kids ages 2-3 and a carer. Together, you and your child will learn preschool skills such as vocabulary, letters/sounds, numbers, colors, shapes, and more.

Join Daytime Playtime Kids for a *FREE Day of Play as they open our doors to the community to have some FREE indoor fun!

This event is best for children ages 10 months to 5 years. *Your child will love the ball pit, bubbles, soft play area, toys, and so much MORE! A grown up must accompany any children. Register HERE.

Adults and children must wear socks as we will remove our shoes upon entering the play space.

Daytime Playtime Kids also offers the opportunity for students to take classes in pre-reading/reading and handwriting to get them ready for school when the time comes.
