Welcome to Shreveport-Bossier Area Macaroni Kid! I over the moon excited to be here to share fun events, articles, and area resource guides for area families who live, work, and play in and around Shreveport-Bossier.
My name is Mimi Rankin Webb. Many of you may already know me from my years as an award winning blogger & writer for the Red River Moms Like Me forum, website & magazine as well as my blog & resource page/group Shreveport-Bossier Moms In the Know.
I am also a Multi-Disciplinary Artist & Artistic Director of Gas Light Players, a local community theater & its haunted attraction Gentleman Death's Shocktale Show.
Not only am I a proud Navy-Mom, I am also Mom to 13yr old Triplets each living with various forms of Autism making for some wild stories to share with everyone at times! I have shared anecdotes of my kids for going on thirteen years now.
I can be found down in Baton Rouge during legislative session representing our area as the LaCAN Leader for Region 7 (Louisiana Developmental Disabilities Council's Advocacy Network) working diligently with my counterparts across the state for systems change on behalf of our disabilities community.
I am so proud to call the Shreveport-Bossier area my home and love sharing all of the fun festivals and events our area has to offer!
