There's something about plastic beads that causes them to end up ALL OVER my house when we use them for craft projects. I have had enough! Fortunately, with the latest anti-plastic movements, there couldn't be a more perfect time to make the swap from those pesky plastic beads to more eco-friendly choices. That's how we were inspired to create a paper straw necklace. This simple, inexpensive, mom-approved craft is suitable for even the youngest of artisans.
Supplies Needed:
- Paper Straws ~ We found our rainbow unicorn themed straws at Target
- String or ribbon
- Needle (optional)
- Embellishments (optional) ~ stickers, paper cutouts, charms ~ free printables below!
Instructions:
- Cut the paper straws into smaller segments. Our straws are cut to 3/4-inch long pieces.
- String the paper straws onto your string/ribbon.
- Embellish as you'd like!
(Print these embellishments to add to your necklace)
