Charity Car Show to benefit The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club

A local non-profit that offers a free after school program for area students is gearing up for its 2nd annual charity car show. Show off your cars and trucks at The Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club, 2821 Greenwood Road in Shreveport, on Saturday, April 28th to help raise money for the local club. Registration is from 8am-10am followed by the car show from 10am-2pm. Award announcements will begin at 130pm.

Trophies will be given out for People's Choice, Best of Show and for 1st and 2nd place in nine other categories that include: Muscle Car, Hot Rod Car, Hot Rod Truck, Modern Car, Modern Truck, Antique Car, Antique Truck, Rat Rod and Street Rod. Food will be available for purchase. Early registration through Eventbrite is only $25 through Tuesday, April 24th.

Event day registration is $30. Each additional vehicle is $20. T-shirts will be available at the event for $15 each. The Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club is a safe haven for area youth ages 6-18. The club is a driving force toward a better future for area students. On average, 90 children attend the club daily after school. Around 100 come for the summer camp program. All proceeds from the car show will benefit the local Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club.

This event is FREE to the public to come view the cars from 10am-2pm.
