SLEEPOUT 4 INDEPENDENCE on Saturday, May 6 through Sunday, May 7, raises awareness of homelessness among the young leaders of today and tomorrow in our community and Northwest Louisiana by providing an unforgettable experience for the participants. SleepOut 4 Independence is a 15-hour educational event that engages young people and the community about issues that homeless families with children face every day. Participants will form teams, build shelters out of cardboard and SleepOut on May 6, 2017. There will be food and fun and also an educational experience that allows campers to "walk a mile in the shoes" of families who have come to Providence House homeless and gone on to transform their lives and the lives of their children!
