Heading out to a local high school or professional game this season? Show some spirit with these easy pompoms using plastic table cloths, duck tape, and scissors.
Choose the color combination that best supports your team and pick up 2 tablecloths in the colors that you choose (the thicker ones work best).
Open them up and cut the plastic into 9"x12" rectangles. Layer by twos (for our version we layered two reds, then two blues, the two reds, then two blues, etc.) until you have a stack of about 20-30 sheets.
Next cut long ways about 4.5" on both sides about every inch or so. The center remains uncut. You do not need to be meticulous about measuring. A rough estimate works just fine.
Finally gather the center and tape it tightly with duck tape. Fluff by pulling each piece apart, scrunch, and shake! Rah-Rah-Sis-Boom-Bah!
